How I Marloe: Danielle Nagel of Dazey LA

This weeks 'How I Marloe', highlights Danielle Nagel, designer + owner of Dazey LA, a premium, empowerment clothing line! I first met Dani when collaborating on a special project together. It's hard to find people in this industry that are willing to work together to empower each other + others, without a hidden agenda. Working with Dani + getting to know a little bit about her and her work ethic, its no wonder that her contagious energy captures the attention of all that shop her AMAZING clothing line!

I visited Dani at the amazing Biz Babes, an all-female co-working space in Downtown LA- A second business that she created just to bring female business owners together! I couldn't help but capture the creatively, inspiring space, which I excitingly share photos with you below!

Get to know more about Dani + how she styles her Marloe leather goods this week's Marloe feature!

1. Tell us a bit about yourself:

I’m a designer and photographer. I have a female empowerment clothing line called Dazey LA and I recently co-founded my second business Biz Babez, an all-female co-working space in DTLA!

2. How do you Marloe? Where do get the most use out of your Layover Tote or Leena Bucket Bag?

As a busy business women I am always on the go! It’s so nice just being able to throw on a beautiful and functional bag that matches everything like the Leena Bucket bag.

I’m often working in different parts of town taking meetings and shooting, so the layover tote is perfect for my laptop or camera! My 15” macbook slides right in and the straps are thick enough not to hurt my shoulder when I carry it.

3. What’s your favorite feature of your Marloe Bag/s?

I love the simple yet unique design elements! They are made to be stylish but also keep functionality in mind.

4. Why did you choose Coral for your Layover Tote + Black/ Suede for your Leena Bucket Bag? And how would you recommend others choose the best color that works for them?

I needed a simple everyday bag that was black and would look good with all my outfits! I also love the bucket bag trend right now.

The color of the layover tote is AMAZING I needed to have it. It’s the perfect size for a gal with a traveling office to tote around town.

5. How do you style your bag? Whether its day-to-night or strictly a work bag?

I literally haven’t taken the bucket bag off so with EVERYTHING haha. It transitions easily from a day outfit, like overalls and a Daze tee, to a night out look like a dress.

The layover is my daytime jam. It’s so bright and fun!

6. Why do you choose to Marloe?

Because I love to support small female owned business! That’s hugely what my brand Dazey is about so I try to live out what I preach. Plus they’re the best!
